Marburg, Germany - Michael Schumacher's former manager Willi Weber has asked for an "honest" updates regarding the injured veteran's condition.

Schumacher, 47, a seven-time F1 world champion, suffered head injuries when

he fell on a rock in a skiing accident in Meribel, France on December 29, 2013.

He spent months in an induced coma before being moved from hospital to a rehabilitation clinic in June 2014.

'Honest message'

Weber told that he believes the injured F1 champion's fans would be more at ease if they were given an "honest message" about the state of his health.

Weber adds that information from the family could also help those who worked with Schumacher cope with the tragic situation.

It's not the first time Weber has critisised the Schumacher family, in 2015, Weber wrote on his Facebook page that Schumacher's wife Corinna would not allow him to visit the stricken F1 legend in the wake of his 2013 skiing crash.
