African Weather Service has warned of extremely high fire danger conditions expected over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape as well as the western parts of the North West and Free State provinces.
A 30% chance of rain is also forecast over the northeastern parts of the Northern Cape, northern and central parts of the North West province as well as the whole of the Free State province. The coast from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth can also expect a 30% chance of rain.
In KwaZulu-Natal's northern and central regions, a 60% chance of rain is also forecast.

Temperatures along the coast will be mild, with Cape Town expected to reach a high of 27°C, and Durban and Port Elizabeth both expected a maximum of 24°C.
Higher up in the country, temperatures are expected to reach over 40°C.
Musina will be the hottest place in SA, expected to hit a high of 41°C. Lephalale and Skukuza are both forecast to reach 40°C.
