Cape Town - Left-arm spinner Aaron Phangiso has seeminglybeen forgiven for his ‘sins’ after being included in the Proteas’ World T20squad named on Wednesday.

Phangiso was dropped for the current ODI series

againstEngland as part of his punishment after he misbehaved badly on a flight toDubai late last year.

Phangiso has been preferred to Eddie Leie as the secondspecialist spin bowling option, with Imran Tahir the other frontline spinner.

"The inclusion of Aaron means that we have all our spinbowling options covered with he, Imran Tahir and JP Duminy offering thedifferent varieties. Left-arm spin bowlers tend to play big roles under Indianconditions,” commented Cricket South Africa (CSA) selection convener, LindaZondi.

The 15-man Proteas squad will also do duty in the upcomingT20 international series to be played against England and Australia during thecourse of the next four weeks, before heading off to India for the ICC WorldTwenty20 next month.
